Kacey Musgraves and Kane Brown will headline the first LONGHAUL Festival when the new country music event launches in Australia in January 2027. Organizers announced that both artists will perform their only Australian shows of the trip at the three-city festival.
The event is scheduled to begin at Melbourne Showgrounds on January 22 before moving to Sydney Showground on January 23 and Brisbane RNA Showgrounds on January 24. The announcement positions LONGHAUL as a major addition to Australia’s growing country music festival calendar.
The lineup also features Charles Wesley Godwin, Margo Price, Maddox Batson, James Barker Band and Ava Hall. Australian performers will appear throughout the event, bringing local artists together with established international acts.
Musgraves and Brown represent different sides of modern country music. Musgraves is known for blending traditional country songwriting with pop and alternative influences, while Brown has built a broad audience through country, pop and R&B collaborations.
Afterpay presale tickets open July 24, followed by another presale on July 27. General ticket sales begin July 28.
